Hi, my name is Hideki. Today, I am going to introduce a special day in Japan. In Japan, there are a lot of the special days.
I chose “Health and Sports Day”. Do you know about meaning of the special day?
Health and Sports Day is to encourage people to play sports and cultivate a healthy mind and body.
This day was made because of the opening ceremony of Tokyo Olympics which was held in 10.10.1964.
Sports festivals are often held on this day.
Especially, elementary school, junior high school, and high school held sports festivals, and students are very excited.
However, fathers who usually don’t exercise, often go to the hospital after they are injured at school festivals.

There are various things for an effort. The effort is very important for a human being.
When I was high school student, I belonged to a baseball club. Japanese high school baseball is strict. Our baseball club had more than100 members. In many members, I must gain a regular. Therefore, I had to make a lot of effort. For example, I ran for a long distance many times, and I can’t count how many practice swings I did.
However, I had a splendid manager. He is a greatest person in my life. He has a strong passion, and I met good friends in our baseball club. We got over the hard practice together with my friends.
Furthermore, I was not only the regular but also captain. I learned the importance of effort through high school baseball!!

I came from Shirako in Chiba.
My house is near The Pacific, so I can go there 30 seconds.
When I was child, I used to swim in the Ocean.
But I’m living in Fuchinobe now.
I love playing baseball and watching baseball.
I had played it for 10 years from 8 years old to 18 years old.
When I was high school student, I belonged to baseball club .
We practiced a lot and aimed at the Koshien.
I cannot forget it throughout the life every day.
