Hello, welcome to our show. Do you want to live a long life? And Do you believe in the power of music? We will talk about two topics. An Active mind and our classmate, Kaho’s,“I believe.” Let’s start!
“Active mind”
We thought a happy life is connected with having an active mind. So we surveyed about the connections between hobby and health.
We asked 20 men and 20 women. The first question is “Do you have any hobbies?” If a respondent said “yes”, the second question is “What’s your hobby?” And the third question is “How often do you do your hobby?”

“Kindness“ is the quality or state of being kind. Do you believe in kindness? Of course I believe in it. I believe kindness makes happiness, love, and peace, so we need kindness.
I have a memory about kindness that I can’t forget. When I was afive-year old girl, I got lost in a shopping center. I was very sad and cried. Then a woman came to me and said “what happened? Are you lost?” and she took me to an information center and waited for my mother together with me. I don’t know her name, but I’ll never forget her. I want to repay her kindness someday.
Kindness is hiding in your everyday. For example, please imagine your school life. If you forget a pencil, your friend will lend one to you. If you have many things, a person will open a door. If you are sleeping in study time, a teacher will wake you up, There are also kindness. When I get kindness from someone, I’m happy and I’d like to give kindness. I think kindness has love.
This idea is like Karma. The cycle when I give you a kindness and you give me a kindness is Buddhist belief. It is an important part of some religions such like Hinduism and Buddhism.
If we don’t have kindness, we will be a danger and the world can’t be peaceful. Kindness is very important for the peaceful world. I ask you again. Do you believe in kindness?

Hello, I am Reina Sakaimoto. My name is very difficult and it is hard to remember, so please call me “Reina”.
I am from Sagamihara Kanagawa. My hometown is Tsukui,Do you know Tsukui? There are a lot of mountains and “Tsukui lake”, so my hometown is a country town.
There are four people and one pet in my family: my father, mother, brother, dog, and me. I love my pet the best in my family. Her mane is “Momo”, and she is a Dachshund. I enjoy playing and taking her for walks every day.
My hobbies are cooking, reading books, and watching movies. When I feel cold or tired or it’a a rainy day, I spend time doing them. My favorite movie is “The Last Samurai”. It is an American’s story in the last days of the Tokugawa shogunate. I like samurai story because they are yery cool and strong, and samurai spirit is interesting.
My part-time job is in a Karaoke box in Hashimoto. I work five days a week. I am very tired every time, but my part-time job is so fun and I am glad when I get money.
I want to get married and have a son and a daughter early in the future, because I like children and I want to make delicious meals for my husband and children every day.
